Lou Galasso III

President

Lou Galasso brings over 35 years of environmental/industrial business experience to Clearsite as a founder and former owner of the industry-leading Allstate Power Vac. Starting as an operator and mechanic of vacuum trucks on Long Island, NY, his entrepreneurial vision led him to developing one of the strongest industrial maintenance and environmental remediation businesses in the northeast.  As owner/CEO of Allstate, he was responsible for the overall management, planning, profit and loss, and the vision for the growth of the company.

Lou’s industry experience and business acumen ultimately resulted in a revenue base greater than $75 Million annually.  Always an industry leader, Lou was among the first business owners on the east coast to introduce Vacuum Excavation into his business, growing his fleet 1000% over four years and securing contracts with national contractors and utility owners, and expanding his business into the Mid-west.

Lou’s creation of Clearsite in 2018 reinforces his continued belief in the importance of Vacuum Excavation and the goal of providing customers with cost effective, safe, and versatile solutions for challenging excavations.  Under Lou’s direction Clearsite has emerged as one of the fastest growing, and most trusted vacuum excavation provider on the East Coast.

Steve D’Angelo

Vice President

Steve D’Angelo brings over 30 years of excavation experience to Clearsite.  Raised in a family foundation and excavation business in Philadelphia, Steve’s expertise encompasses all aspects of excavation, learned from the ground up.  With industry roots as a laborer and equipment operator, Steve built his experience from foundations, underpinning, piles and caissons, to utility construction.  He has been responsible for numerous high-profile excavation projects in the city, driving their completion and profitability.

Steve’s 20 years in the vacuum excavation industry began in the early 2000’s, leaving his family business to introduce this relatively new technology to the Northeast United States. He developed a thriving market in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and ultimately expanded north into New England and South into VA.  Steve has directed Clearsite’s growth from those areas to include locations covering the eastern United States.

Steve continues to work closely with utility owners, contractors, and industrial facilities to demonstrate the value and safety of Vacuum Excavation and has also been heavily involved in local, and national 811 programs.

Today, Steve is recognized not only as a pioneer of the industry, but one of its most trusted ambassadors.  He continues to bring his track record of experience, relationship building, and commitment to Clearsite’s valued clients.
